I’ll tell you people one thing that Tumblarity generates a hell of a lot of: Hyperbole.
What if this hyperbole surplus could be harnessed into usable energy? Just think what we could accomplish.
- We’d have enough electricity to light up New Jersey for much longer than it should be.
- The Tumblette page’s loading time could be instantaneous.
- My damn laptop battery would stop dying so fast.
- Your mom’s Magic Wand could be fully powered for weeks.
Tumblarity has generated more hyperbole than any other website change has generated anywhere, ever.
Oh, come on! Surely you have a problem with them making up the word “tumblarity” at the very least?
Yep, you know me too well. That my very well be my biggest complaint about the feature. :-)

Singing Trout Thing of the Day: Yeah, so McDonald’s pretty much killed the idea of the Singing Trout ever being funny again, right? Enter: Demonic Singing Trout.
And all is wrong with the world.
[via.]
OK, I didn’t expect this to be funny but when Demonic Singing Trout hit about 0:24 into the video, I started cracking up.

The Wall Street Journal uncovers 1960s and 1970s hippie hideouts around the country.
This makes me think of one of the sets out of that movie What Dreams May Come.

New tumblr game - obsessively monitor your tumblarity rankings until you get three names in a row that are listed alphabetically, and then take a screen shot and post it.
If you can get 3 in a row on both your global and national stats at the same time, you get a pat on the back.
If you can get 4 in a row (either column), you are an evil genius.
If you can get all 5 in a row (either column), you win tumblr.

Another Konami code website easter egg for the Mook (since I know he’s collecting these)

Joe Williams with Count Basie & His Orchestra- I’m Beginning To See The Light
I sang this song in my vocal jazz choir back in high school…but nowhere near as smooth as Joe - ahh, fond memories.
